Message to Man Film Festival 2013 Opens in St Petersburg

Russia’s only documentary film festival marks its’ 23rd year and demonstrates that our human experience is not easy to understand and full of surprises. The film festival is considered Class A for documentary films and more than 100 of them will be given their Russian premiere at the film festival. There will be 4 world premieres presented, 19 special presentations, music, exhibitions, and workshops with the festival directors and producers.

The schedule includes an international competition featuring 54 films and three main categories: Feature-length and short documentaries, along with some animated films. The Russian films will feature English subtitles for the expected international audience.

Starting on September 21 and running until September 28, Message to Man will present 233 films from 37 different countries in theaters in St Petersburg. Ticket prices range from 50 rubles ($1.54) to 100 rubles ($3.08).
