Vasa Museum (on Djurgården Island, which was a royal hunting park) guided tour

(King Gustav Adolf’s mighty ship, The Vasa, was intended for a major role in the Swedish Navy. But fate decreed otherwise: the ship foundered shortly after embarking on her maiden voyage in 1628.The Vasa was salvaged after 333 years on the bottom of Stockholm StrÖm and now the world’s only preserved XVII century ship. Adorned with more than 700 carved sculptures, she is also a unique treasury of art making an overwhelming impression on each and every visitor).         

The Old Town (Gamla Stan) Walking Tour starts at the Royal Palace, we make our way through the winding alleys, hidden courtyards and charming squares to find the tiniest public sculpture in Stockholm(Järnpojke) and its narrowest alley(Mårten Trotzigs Gränd),  The Great Church(Storkyrka)- where most of Swedish kings were crowned, Nobel Museum among many other little miracles. You will also come across art shops, galleries and smart selling clothes ,handcrafted  jewellery  and ceramics and plenty of cosy cafes serving decent coffee and kanelbulle (cinnamon rolls).

At the end of the tour, we will head back to the port, or you can choose to extend your stay in Stockholm to explore the Old Town by yourselves.
